Jundullah says it has pledged loyalty to the medieval butchers of ISIL and 'will back whatever plans they have going forward”, noted the English-language paper in its Viewpoint column.
Iran and Pakistan have what it takes to defeat a beleaguered terrorist outfit like Jundullah. They also have the necessary tools and resources to turn the Baluchi regions into a sustainable center for greater bilateral trade and development projects, wrote the paper.
All they need to do is stop the American, British and Zionist spy agencies – and ISIL - from joining ranks with Jundullah, and/or from meddling in their internal affairs. Long story short, the focus for future prospects of the two neighbors should be on this particular vision, underscored the paper.
Elaborating on the terrorist group Jundullah's origin and the heinous crimes it has been committing till date, the paper wrote that new evidence from recent terrorist attacks carried out in both Pakistan’s far west and in southeastern Iran, suggests that the Western-backed terrorist outfit and the irrefutable evidence of the full backing of the Zionist regime's spy agency Mossad, are still busy encouraging the growth of the terrorists in this particular border region, condemned the paper.
Evidence also proves that from the last 13 years they have been a key factor when it comes to destabilizing significant chunks of the Iranian border with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
It is unclear how big the group is now, but their profile is clearly much smaller than it was before Rigi’s capture and death. So their joining hands with ISIL doesn’t give them a bigger clout and/or the Takfiri terrorist group a much higher profile in Pakistan and Baluchestan, it wrote.
Still, that doesn’t mean the US, Israel and the UK won’t be responsible for any future terrorist attacks in Baluchestan. Quite the opposite, they are behind the terrorist outfit and they will be held to account if there are new terrorist attacks against the Iranian citizens along the border area, underscored the daily.
As for Pakistan’s role, it is evident that Tehran and Islamabad reject terrorism and are for deep-seated commonalities. The border area plays a special role in different spheres when it comes to the development of bilateral ties. It acts like a link between the two nations, and they know that no terrorist outfit or foreign power should be allowed to cut off this important link, pointed out the paper.
The problem, however, is that the American, British and Israeli intelligence services are operating in Pakistan’s Baluchestan region. Subsequently, relations between Iran- and the UK, U.S., Pakistan and the U.S., and Iran-Pakistan directly affect the Baluchi regions and their growing challenges, it added.
The key challenges are obviously terrorism, organized crime, drugs trafficking, and human trafficking. These challenges require a joint strategy because they are a shared problem. That’s why the two governments should refrain from linking these problems to any particular party, and join forces to resolve them at the earliest, suggested the paper in conclusion.
